BIOGRAPHY
I got my first set of drums at age seven when my dad bought them so I could get rid of my pent up energy. They weren't put to good use until I was exposed to a band my dad hired for my sisters 16th birthday pool party. The drummer was loud, and I liked that. I got to know him and asked my dad to fund some lessons. Being a properly loud and groovy drummer, Joe Rio taught me how to really play instead of futzing around with practice pads and basic rudiments. I was a good player by the time I was 10 years old, being accepted to play in a music program reserved for 12 year olds and above. I began playing gigs with seasoned musicians in rock n' roll bands and got to experience dive bars when I probably shouldn't have. I continued to progress and work on the craft everyday throughout my youth and into my adulthood. I won awards in the high school jazz competitions and was invited to NAMM where I was able to meet my drumming idols. I attended Berklee College of Music for my freshman year of college, though I transferred to Temple University since. I still play professionally, recently gigging with Fiona Silver in NYC. My creative and energetic spirit lead me to copywriting while attending Temple University. At this time, I have done work for real clients as part of my degree, and I'm confident in my ability to make any brand stand out.
